    Silicon nitride ceramic is a kind of ceramic with high strength, high hardness, and high heat conduction by sintering (reaction sintering, pressureless sintering, hot pressing sintering.). Silicon nitride ceramics have excellent heat shock resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, which can be used in bearing, substrate, cutter, and shell.     Silicon nitride ceramic bearing
    The important index of bearing material is rolling fatigue life. In common structural ceramics, silicon nitride ceramics' rolling fatigue life is significantly higher than that of zirconia, silicon carbide, alumina, and other materials, which is very suitable for bearing materials.
     
    Compared with the metal steel bearing, silicon nitride ceramic bearing has low density, small thermal expansion coefficient, high modulus of elasticity and compressive strength, high-temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and self-lubrication. Under the same specification, the service life of silicon nitride ceramic bearing is 3-6 times of steel bearing.
     
    At present, silicon nitride ceramic bearings have been widely used in electroplating equipment, high-speed machine tools, medical devices, chemical equipment, wind power generation, and other confidential transmission systems.
     
    Silicon nitride ceramic heat dissipation substrate
    In the electronic industry, the heat dissipation base plate needs to exhaust the components' heat in the integrated circuit. Also, the base plate needs to have strong enough mechanical properties to cope with too harsh conditions such as temperature and pressure.
     
    Although silicon nitride ceramics' thermal conductivity is lower than aluminum nitride and beryllium oxide, it is significantly higher than that of general structural ceramics, which can meet the heat dissipation requirements of the substrate. The strength and fracture toughness of silicon nitride ceramics are much higher than those of other substrate ceramics. It is a heat dissipation substrate material with excellent comprehensive performance. It has been applied in the electric control system of high-speed iron and electric vehicles.
