This method makes use of the mechanism that metal particles are broken and refined due to deformation at different strain rates. It has the advantages of low selectivity to materials, continuous operation and high production efficiency. It is suitable for dry grinding and wet grinding, and can be used for powder preparation of various metals and alloys. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to grade in the process of powder preparation. Because of its simple process and large output, it can be used to prepare some ultra-fine nano powders of high melting point metals and alloys which are difficult to obtain by conventional methods.
